ATS systems on a contactor – power supply safety made simple

Auxiliary power supply (AWS) cabinets with a contactor are a practical solution that automatically switches power between the mains and the generator. The basic version operates based on a control signal from the generator, allowing for ergonomic and simple operation. The extended version, with its own ComAp controller, allows for the control of multiple AWS cabinets with a single generator, as well as the creation of more complex automation systems. Upon customer request, the AWS can be manufactured in a four-pole version and adapted for outdoor operation.

The SZR 350 is a backup power cabinet based on the reliable LC1F265P7 three-pole contactor, with a rated current of 350 A and a power of 220 kVA . As standard, control is via a signal from the generator (e.g., AMF 25), which guarantees reliable, automatic power switching at no additional cost.
